Hi!

Today I am working on reformatting the blog a bit. I will be adding links to my earnings sites, I have been using for years. Please use my links! Most we will both get a bonus if you join. Some take a while, so please hang in there. I would not share these if I have not already cashed out, some multiple times.  Also, feel free to follow my Facebook page! For those Christians or even not, Psalm 91 is a good reading right now.

I love you guys, God bless and have a great day!

Quarantine and Clean!

Hi All! Hope this post finds you safe and healthy! My family and I are choosing to stay home right now. Fortunately my job won't count the absence and I have paid time off available.

What are you doing to keep busy? I am cleaning up a storm! Organizing, throwing away and getting stuff ready to give away.

Let me know! God bless and have a great day!

Updates, musings and rambles from the Burgher (good, bad and uglier)

So, I know long time no see AGAIN and so sorry to let you guys down. I have been EXTREMELY busy. With my son in school, work, trying to catch up on housework...those of you that follow me know that I have chronic pain so stress does make it much worse! etc etc.

Let's see hmmm, good. I went Goodwill hunting and scored Adidas memory foam slides for $6 never used. I also scored my sons winter shirts for next year, just need to catch up on pants. This is a good time of year to clearance shop and do goodwill..stores and people are trying to make space and clean out their closets, per-se.

I,after almost six years, finally got full time at work. Good. Of course there is a catch with that..it's Wal-mart..haha. I had to open my availability which is 7am to 11 pm and boy did they take advantage of that. It's going to be really stressful and exhausting but the extra money will be worth it!

Bad and good...my son had a really bad cold but he is better, but it seems my mom got it. My 92 year old grandpa has a severe flue and is not doing well.

Anyway, enough for today. I do have some rambles in my head...which ones do you want? Saving money? Being giving? etc?

Also need to support my goodwill habit so here is a link to swagbucks, an extremely easy way to earn  gift cards or paypal money, if you are interested I can give you tips that are quick...I average about $5 a month on there. PLEASE USE MY LINK! God bless and have a great week!

Promised you Frugal!

Ok, so I promised you all frugal, sorry about the bright bold red but need to get myself pumped up about saving as well as you! I am just going to make a random list, of things that pop in my head. I do so many could not list all at once! Feel free to let me know yours, since knowledge is power and a penny saved is a penny earned!
-wash and reuse ziplock bags, now even sandwich bags make great baggies and even plastic wrap! Less wasting food and less wasting money on "disposable" items that will not decompose for a billion years! (btw the twist ties are handy for everything!)

-keep your house cold mine is at 65 right now its about 10 out! when I leave I put it at about 62.  During the summer I keep it at 78 when not at home and 75 when I am there and use fans if It gets to muggy I will turn it down for an hour or two to get the muggy out.
-fill the dishwasher til it might scream
-donate unwanted items....karma, what goes around....plus less clutter is better for you...or so they say, still working on it!
-shop yardsales
-DON'T. WASTE. ANYTHING. PERIOD.
ok so wearing myself down!
please feel free to add!
God bless, have a good one!

You know you are broke and or frugal when:

-You pay a few cents more for a good reuseable container
-You use coupns-a lot(not extreme here yet)
-Aldis is your best friend.
-you look at everything you buy to see if it's something to reuse or recycle. You hate throwing things away so donate, give it away or reuse it.
-you have a compost coffee jar
-you buy extra dishes at goodwill so you can fill your dishwasher until it screams(you hate running it more than twice a week)
-your house is 63 during the winter
--you get samples with the thought to sell them in baggies at a garage sale or post on listia
-you order cheap stuff off amazon with your swagbucks money.  I don't care if my reusable kcup didn't have a box and probably fell off a truck but it was $6 wih the shipping.
-you love your litter maid but not paying $18 for refills so you bleached the one you have and duck taped it
-duck tape is a staple in your drawer
-you buy whole milk and make a half gallon into two or more
-you always check the clearance veggies with stir fry in mind]
-if it can't be reused or sold or donated, can it be re cycled at the scrap yard? (money honey! )

etc
etc
etc
what do you do?
